This matcha is crafted at Yabuzaki-en Tea Farm in Shizuoka, a region long respected for producing well-balanced Japanese green tea. Surrounded by mountains and clear air, the farm benefits from a natural environment that supports healthy tea plants and clean, expressive flavors.

For this matcha, young tea leaves are shaded before harvest to enhance umami and natural sweetness. After harvesting, the leaves are slowly stone-milled into a fine powder. The Light Matcha has a crisp profile with noticeable bitterness and a light umami core. Subtle sweetness and aroma support a clean, sharp finish, perfect as a latte or deserts.
