Fukamushi, meaning “deep-steamed,” is a Shizuoka specialty where the tea leaves are steamed twice as long as usual. This gentle process creates a vivid green liquor, a smooth mouthfeel, and a mellow sweetness — capturing the richness of the leaf itself.
Because it is deeply steamed, this green tea brews in just 30 seconds—about half the time of regular tea—and can be enjoyed both hot and iced.
